A spark of joy
Yesterday, May 19, Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolfe announced that Real Estate across PA is officially reopening for business effective today! Even counties still designated "Red" are allowed to operate as if they are "yellow," at least as far as real estate is concerned. Of course, there are still a number of restrictions on activities, but for many of us Realtors this is a huge weight lifted.
Personally, I'm enthusiastic about getting back to work! I love a challenge, so this is an exciting time to be a Realtor. Most of the work will be done online/virtually, but in person showings are now allowed following certain regulations (no more than 2 clients at a time, no touching anything, wear a mask, etc.).
Being able to work with clients and get out of the house again will be a welcome reprieve from homeschooling, cooking, cleaning, care giving, dogs barking, disinfecting my own mail, channeling Marie Kondo on every drawer in my house, etc. Seriously, all of my clothes are lined up in my drawers vertically, and sorted into outfits. As are my daughters'. And we will be saying good-bye and thank you to several large bags of clothes that no longer spark joy once the local charities are open for collection again.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that my role as a Realtor sparks joy in my life, and I'm excited to celebrate that with all of you!
